Bumblebees are native to North America and are an integral part of the pollination environment. Unfortunately, they have been facing declines due to the lack of natural places/habitats to nest or build their homes. As an urban or city gardener, you can help solve this problem by providing a safe solution for nesting. Place a Pollinator Penthouse in a shaded, low-traffic area and let the Bumble Bees discover it as a place for their nest. Support pollinators!
Bumble Bee nests have between 50-500 bees compared to 3000-4000 honey bees in a colony.
My solution for BumbleBee nesting habitats is designed to be easy to use. Q1. How do I use them?
Answer: Just place a Pollinator Penthouse in a shady, low-traffic area of your yard or garden and leave it alone. Queen Bumble Bees look for nesting sites on or in the ground in the spring and early summer. They usually choose mouse holes or a shaded pile of leaves to nest in that are out of the way so they won't be disturbed.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not, we'll make it right.
